Open Book Covers from Bygone Cards presented by BB

Hello and welcome one and all.

As far as i could gather what follows were childrens playing cards of a bygone age,and here in picture form a whole live long day gently unfolds. i put my wits together and made up each for printing my open book covers out for a book shelf in a make believe library were books whisper and chatter away in their own authors fancifull display.

It is a boyish thing i realise but at 74 years of age i guess that i will never really grow up as others about  me do. Imagination knows no bounds of uncompromising rulership. i believe. BB

In My Minds Eye i Saw The Fuller Picture Well Before i Laid Bear Such a Plan as this * presented by BB*

TALES FROM THE RIVER BANK

writen down here by Paul Howes

It was a time within another deeper darker time, when life was by far less complicated.

Well at least upon the yellowing paper of peace loving well laid out books.

"Upon reason of my suprize, there is so much dusting to do."

'A well good job you do too. i'll pile the dried up twigs upon our winter roasting fire.'

And so it was that they remained snug and warm, while outside was covered over in a frozen                 blanket  of sparkling white.    Well at least it covered over the hit or miss, misdeeds of greedy man.

.

The Yellowing Flickering Light a Shady Thing to Glimse Upon.

This little picture was made into a folding book cover by slicing the light bulb section down  from top to bottom  of  that section. One could say cut and paste from that which my eyes first saw as a possibility of deeper thought. i guess all ideas are like that, before they fast fade away to oblivion.

From the one a block of six was constructed.

And from that block a groping of twelve were made.

In this way i was able to reduce the size down to the ones i needed

in order to fill  the dolls house style of stacking my library shelving

of  28mm scale.  By block building in this way on my pc,

it saved rather expensive printing paper wastage when printed out book size

                      arrived upon my scene.

Stay safe, stay well and help others if you can.  i'll C U on the next  one. BB

 Dear Reader,

Giving or recieving a gift are on the minds of many at this present giving time,as this year finally runs to its ending in colourful universal display. Yet due to the economic conditions, some might have cut back uncertain of what next year might well bring?

Have you ever considered the gifts we've all recieved at no financial expence to ourselves, one for which we often don't give a second thought to? They are those given freely by our Heavenly Father Jehovah God,as stated in The Bible in James chapter 1; verse 17 where it reads," Every good gift and every perfect present is from above, coming down from the father of the celestial lights, who does not vary or change like the shifting shadows." Thoughts of his greatest gift to mankind, the birth of his son Jesus Christ, here on earth and all that entailed could have come to mind?  However in reality he's seen no longer as a  sweet babe in arms by millions today. So with that being the case,"What is Jesus Christ role now?
