1918 VOGUE presented by BB

The movement of gentle breeze and the dance of flower heads sway such a dreamy scene while all seemed to beckon come the new day and peaceful time ahead.

1918 and The Great War,the war to end all wars was coming to its close.

                                                          Flags upon the march home.

However like a dreaded game of struggle and strife it was only Half Time. One can ponder a thought upon such a strange thing in the hindsight of history. 1939 was the kick off date when fathers sons played to the tune of the flagging world empires again, and off they marched towards the lightning glare of the sun that finally ended it.

i gave up playing the recorder when i reached  F Sharp!

In the Realms of Lost Nursery Books. presented by BB

The morning sun was somewhat blanked out for it was such a dull day of rain and hale that fell upon our little evergreen Fiddle Wood garden. So i began to flit about trying to find something good and interesting to do, and so here is the result of searching for little books. Books that by their very interesting nature have a certain warning to all those that glance curious inquisitive eyes of learning upon them.

Little Red Riding Hood,is weary of the big bad Wolf, upon her way through the wood where her kind Elderly Granmar lived. However to follow such a meandering pathway might be awfully dangerous to twist and turn such a small child upon. i often wonder just who might be a Wolf ?

In this tale of woe,one must ask the grim question,

Who stole the children in our day and age?

Taking them to the very edge of the Snow-caped East?

When i were very much younger than i am now,

as a little lad,

i often read books and comics upon a window sill too.

i sure do have such a fright of large Spiders myself.  Whereas my Wife, has no such fear of them so they are still alive  gently put out of the house into the garden where i am sure they would prefure to be.

Here below lay the weeks days all in disorder, but i am certain un-puzzled you'll be able to reason a todays thought upon each of them. i as I am,have such a thought to make a spreading sheet of little books of them to arrange all on a peace and quiet shelving unit for my pleasure to view them in the world of arts and simple crafts!

Yes after counting and recounting like now,

well all the live long days of the week are here.

In the magical realms of a long lost Library,

there is always room for extra books. BB

Jesus Memorial At Sunset 2025

                                                              Jesus Memorial At Sunset 2025

                                                               ( Bible, John 3: verse 16. )

World Wide, the carefully prepared symbolic emblems for the *Memorial*, will be passed along by hand to hand to all in attendance during this special meeting.

( To avoid copywrite infringement, i prepared and presented my own photograph in this instance.)

Jehovah God, loved the world so much that he gave his only begotten Son. John 3; 16.

In the Bible at- John 10; 17 Jesus' declared , " I surrender my life."

Jesus, with his last dying breath, bowed his head and surrendered his life. {Mark 15: 37; Luke 23:46; John 10: 18; 19:30 } Truly it was such a humiliating way to die.

The Memorial date this year for the Passover is on April 12/04/2025  at Sunset.

There certainly will be such a wide full moon.

If  there is a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses near where you live, you too and your family are warmly invited to attend free of charge, there being

no collections taken.

  Respectfully Paul Howes

MASTER LICKANDSTICK AMONGST THE DRIPPING TREES presented by BB

Highlighted Pictures

My Dearest Mrs B, found this little fellow thrown from a car so he lay in the dirty gutter. We can't have him homeless i said to her, lets wash the little mite and put him with the other road kill in the toy figure collection.  So here he is the young Master Lickandstick, in his first staged role. Why the name? Well he has a sucker for licking and then sticking beneath his feet.

Now Back to My Homemade Twisted Wire Tree's and Thier Branch Topping Canopy

                                                       Wet Water Gluing

The Wet Water Treatment is Two of White Glue and One Of  Water with a Good Squeeze of Washing Up Soap Added. The soap breaks the surfice area allowing the mixture to soak right into every little bit of added rubber sponge.Without the soap, the mix will roll off. instead of sinking in.     This is how i treated my railway layout many years ago. Well i am rather ancient myself.   Anyway this will make each tree canopy hard as rock which means no pieces falling off when man-handled.

So the dripping Wet Water, was caught on camera.

It is always good to have an adventure he thought to himself. As for myself i believe he might well have more upon meeting Fred and MayBell.

Fred and MayBell The Wilderness Years

Well guys it is goodbye from Young Master Lickandstick, and also from me.

Stay Safe, Stay Well, and i'll see you on the next one. BB

RED RYDER

i watched a few old BW movies from the 1940's featuring Red Ryder, and from there i found out about the comics so here they are.

Eventually all will be transformed via a printer to become tiny open ended book covers, that I'll find space for in Sir Percy's library somewhere in another model making universe.
