Ancient of so many days i being five years old when this annual appeared in print.

i was born in the full smokey greyness of post war britain...

i having a keen eye for old picture books like to shrink then down in size before desiding to print them out,for scratch built libraries one and all are such daunty things to fill up almost for free.

THIS IS JUST ONE OF MY PRINTING PLATES, THAT i WILL SHOW TO GIVE  EVERYONE THE REASON FOR MYSELF DOING SO MUCH DELVING DIVING BOOKWORM STUFF!

SIR PERCY AND  ESTELLA  ARE BOTH FROM THE  STARS  WITHIN THE  SCRATCH-BUILT LIBRARY THAT IS STILL ONGOING

      The new world and adventure loomed for many.who served under canvas sail.

                                                  THE INSTINCT OF MOTHERHOOD

i was then only three years old BB,thought to himself upon an early,late morning as he typed this out from the finest thin air of fantasy!

                                               Writing is sort of being a real chatterbox!

                                                                                     
 

1953

i thought that i was doing quite well at four years old,

but then school appeared looming upon my horizon.

  i became a latch key kid.                                                   

                                                                               1950's

   Throughout  the 50's meant short trousers and scabed over knees for me.

THIS TURNED OUT OK,BUT IT WAS RATHER A TRICKY ONE DOING THE SPINE!

                                                                             

1961

1961 A year i realised at school,that i only had to serve another three years of such bondage!

                                     NOW THIS COPY WAS MUCH EASIER TO ACHIVE.

My older brother Ronald, was two years young.

1951

An 1861 Victorian designed floor tile i used for inspiration upon mapping out one of my Library floors. Gradually over five years the shelving is being filled.  Of course with a pathway leading through each one to another topsy turvy dimension.                 

                        To read between such pages in an odd sense is to realise a glimmer of me!

                                    Ah to read ones own script was a way forward.

                                   And in an odd way to look back too,

                                   Upon the turning of written pages.

The summer of 1964 arrived in the nick of time as freedom came bursting into my life again,

       and after all these years i'm pleased as punch that i had promised myself that i would not allow school to interfer with my education.                                                                                       

           May this day of your looking be a safe and sound one,filled with happy smiles.

FROM THE FRANCE OF 1981

THIS AIRFIX SET  OF SPACE WARRIORS

                                                 OF COURSE THEY ARE FIGURES FROM

FLASH GORDEN!

                                                               WHILE PLAYING  IN THIS WAY              

For myself in 1981 there was no thought of information technology as it was far into the future for my busy head to reason upon.                                                                                                                             

                                      Once in every lifetime came an adventurous set like this.

AIRFIX also produced an intrepid silver set of the self same figures from France. i have both of these very rare sets. i have often wondered, where are the two part steel molds that produced these space fantasy style figures?

           She is most certainly part of this set too,and there were 14 figures in a box..

Returning to sender.

          SHORT CIRCUIT on the sword.but she sure is blasting away.

                                          The Cyclops Bots,have finally blown their tops!

 Extra special effects were not included in the box,they were added by myself Beano Boy while at humble tumble play.
