THE SATURDAY EVENING POST of 1932

Always Presented By BB

YOU ARE CERTAINLY MOST WELCOME SO COME ON IN

The main aim was to fashion the pictures into open book covers for Sir Percy's  Library some of which is slowly taking place and space above.
So once again the reduction of plates made for printing them are once more depicted below.
                                                         Art Deco Period Pictures

At that time period indicated above the digging up of King Tut, had taken place in 1922 only ten years before this magazine came out.    So there was still a great interest with front cover design to catch the interest of the average eye passing by.

Only four of each set will be printed out.

Some of these will be flat facing out from the shelves so simply put a plain spine will serve in this slotted in little secret make believe place.

                                                           Large pattern for printing out.

                                                       Medium pattern for printing out.

Small pattern plate for printing out.

My word he does look vain.

The Master sets the type.

Repetition shows the way.

To change a nothing space into something is i believe a well set worthy cause.

Large for the printer.

Medium pattern for printing out.

Small for most of the printing out.

After printing and cutting out the next stage is gluing up the strips of paper card so these can be folded over and stuck firmly into wrap around place.
i must add here that each plate of four will be reduced even more for Sir Percy is quite small.
A hobby is a hobby i do realise, but at times it is a just a shady spot of welcome relief from that insatiable unpredictable heat rumbling along outside.   So today was a jolly good day spent painting scratch built items, and then putting  all this upon the white of a once silent page.

There will always be another few pictures in common domain to place and follow through.

As the Sun slips silently into the golden west.
Stay safe, stay well and help others if you can.
                                                                               BB
