The Paper Card Library Expands presented by BB The Scratch Builder

Welcome to my world of abstract fun and laughter.

Where would Sir Percy be without paper card ? Where on earth would i be without it? Most certainly not here upon my cutting out endeavours that spark out story book adventures within my mind.

It's always good to have some help while i sleep a way through a very odd snooze!

They are all welcome friends here within the world of scratch building although i must add through age and illness i can no longer paint small figures.

However i can still use them here now and again.

After spending the most part of this self isolation year making tiny books, It was finally time to build the shelving units needed for thousands upon thousands of rare books to sit upon.

The book tucked under Sir Percy's arm set the scale for such a wondering story line as this.

Having a PC and two good Printers meant i could copy open book covers, downsize them and print reams of them out. i stopped counting them after 6000 and just continued on because i loved passing my time away doing the makeup sections of them, and without even one dull moment too.

It takes me an hour to rig out three of the shelving units with loose books. No, no glue they are all packed in tight and holding them each upside down proves that they stay put every time.

Building the Library from the inside out, instead of one outside in.

i designed each book stand as a repetitive toy where all the contents can be removed in order for who ever wishes to play this amazing small scale game; perhaps even you?

But the catch is one has to make your own.

i like untidy alongside formal stands of my ultimate play time and for certain no two book cases can ever look the same after such a rare tipping out game has been played out.

Besides my craft knife and ruler, my camera is by far the best ever tool to use, for most certainly without it you yourself would've never seen such a puzzle of a scratch building game on wide open display here.

Patience is a  virtue

Yes and it pays dividends, but one that does not profit me,because i will never turn my hobby into a business. Because it would then turn out to be a chore that would spoil the relaxing object exercise of why i enjoy doing it.

The Picture Framers Paper Layered Card That i Use.

It takes me an hour to fill each bookcase with the loose books which have to be fully wedged into place tight enough to hold them in place just like the real ones do.

The Open Cover of my small book

i was born in 1949 and a few years on i loved these Buffalo Bill Annuals which i collected each year.

Each within reach are over 6000 individual books in the up and coming Library.

Of course guys there are lots more book shelves waiting in the wings!
