All the rubber molds were hand made.

THE CASTLE 

My aged wire twisted trees are being gradually replaced by new home-made ones.

block built sections of wall, tower, gateway and massive reinforced tower-houses can be displayed any which way i chose from a single tower to a mighty fortress of any age or time line passage of long ago or even into one the future.

i Call This Little Enterprise Block Building upon a grand scale where the mighty king or even empires can be seen in sci fi and fantasy displays,because once the rubber moulds have been pushed into constructive Lego box square or oblong confines any number of cast up block pieces can be made to stand up with as much bright winged imagination as anyone can think upon and put into their own scratch building practice.

          It had been a busy day so it was simply,' TIME FOR TEA'

HOMEMADE COLOR-WASH THAT SEALS EACH CASTING 

AND in WHICH each DRY out in a FEW SECONDS!

                  THE GATEWAY MOLD

The top of the gate pattern was sunk into the rubber bottom of the moulding box smoothed around and guidance holes were pushed in using a paint bottle, and which its plastic cap was simply used to form each hole before the rubber had cured hard. 

The bottom half was oiled up including the pattern and the inside of the Lego Box!                                            .

 A small door with its step plus a Knights head, perfect for  down pipe gargoyles on building displays had been pressed into the soft homemade oil'ly silicone rubber so at a later date they could be made with the left over plaster of paris, after the main casting up had been done. The why of it ? Waste not, want not,comes to mind.

What was revealed would be cut into four pieces!

BELOW THE EIGHT PART MOULD IS CAREFULLY HELD TOGETHER BY VERY LONG PINS

Because another  upper wall mould was added to the top and so the pins pushed into place at angles needed to fit both moulds tight fitting and ready four pouring.

   The complex mould of six pieces was cast up with Master Masons freshly mixed up Plaster Of Paris!

                      The long pins were removed after the casting had cured damp but hard.

 A wedge of rubber had been cut out of the bottom section of the mould to add flexibility and removal of the four pieces that had formed the inner of the gateway and its outer wall. 

1 Two 3 Four loose segments  were removed, and these are called cores 

because they form the inner parts of each gateway produced.

                                                               UP SIDE DOWN

                The  first letter box shape that caused formation of the outer walls was easily removed. 

Tipped on end the other letter box section was pushed downwards revealing the masonry  

forming the archway of each side of this gateway. Then the mighty casting was removed.

Once where there was nothing it was replaced with a something.

The upper Battlements are made by using another homemade mould.

These were added below,and were used over each defensive wall and gate.

                        The inner side of the gateway with heavy cast battlements

                        and protective walls were added high above it.

 The little door sits upon its step above. The towering walls overlook the construction of a long double sided bridge At this stage i was just following along with my ever growing samples of candid ideas!

In fact my block build sections can be quite an ongoing of colossal dreams, for i alone imagined them long before they each came a reality that could be seen.
